    Ayurveda

    It’s exceptional to find a blissful yoga practice blended with genuine Ayurvedic rejuvenation techniques. Through Ayurveda, you can uncover a deeper respect, connection and healing for the body. Rhythms and cycles reset, and the entire system, physical, mental and spiritual become aligned.

    Schedule

    We will start on Saturday 21st of September in the late afternoon and finish on Friday the 27th of September. Except for the first and last day, the overall schedule will be as notified in the Anticipated Daily Schedule.

    We draw from our collective decades of experience to give you transformative healing practices, from hatha yoga, qi gong, sacred meditations, trading Ayurvedic bodywork and home spa techniques, inspirations from the philosophy of yoga, transformational dynamic group

    Anticipated Daily Schedule

    06:30 - 07:00 Ayurveda dinacharya morning practices

    07:30 - 09:30 main yoga lesson

    10:00 - brunch meal

    11:30 -12:30 karma yoga

    12:30 -13:30 Ayurveda practicum (Nasya, massage trade)

    13:30 - break

    (15:00 -16:00 optional Restorative movement led by our talented retreat participants: qi gong, yin yoga, yoga nidra, restorative asana, gentle pranayama)

    16:00 - second meal

    18:00 -19:15 Ayurveda talk

    19:30 - 20:45 sharing circle, meditation, chanting, spiritual inspiration

    About Flim

    Flim Reydon will lend her special magic to meditations and yoga.  It’s a unique chance to be guided by this wise and playful yoga elder! She became a certified yoga teacher at the oldest school in The Netherlands around 1985. In the late 90-ies, she became a certificated meditation instructor at the Chopra Center in the US and recently a registered International Yoga Therapist (IAYT). Following are years of teachings and foundation of  Flim’s Yoga studio and Center Open Field, during which she got acquainted with Susan Pulley, her favorite guest teacher of Ayurveda.  

    Since the beginning of 2019, she decided to dedicate her time to her favorite subjects and teach them not only in Holland but also abroad.


    About Susan

    Susan is the founder & lead practitioner at Atma Ayurveda, a full-spectrum Ayurvedic wellness clinic offering nutrition, consultations, Ayurvedic therapies & cleanses in Amsterdam.

    She is not only teaching Ayurveda, she lives Ayurveda and you feel that her knowledge has been passed on by her beloved teachers in India and the U.S.

    Susan specializes in women’s health & menopause, stress and burnout, and has more than a decade of clinical experience. Susan helps people transform their health and vitality through practical use of classic Ayurvedic nutrition, herbs, warm oil treatments and education.     In 2008, Susan moved to the Netherlands to teach for the Academy of Ayurvedic Studies, now Delight Academy.

    Location


    An off- the grid retreat location, in the middle of the rugged hinterland at Tarragona not far from Barcelona, with distant sea views.
    Among the ancient olive trees, several small houses have been built. In one of these houses is the yoga studio, in the other cottages, the guests will be accommodated. In the summer there is even a real Yurt on site, where you can sleep with 4 people.

    Everything is tastefully decorated, but also simple, guests must take into account facilities such as electricity and water which must be used sparingly and the drinking of bottled water.

    There is a saltwater swimming pool with springwater and by car, it is a fifteen-minute drive to the beach.

    Pricing & policies

    Last Minute PRICING

    Included: accommodation and meals, so you can escape from your daily obligations for 7 days by immersing yourself in learning and deepening your teachings. Each day begins with a 0.6.30-hour dinacharya ayurvedic morning routine, followed by a 1-hour morning yoga practice and ends with an Ayurvedic talk and evening stillness practices to deeply decompress.

    Not included: Airfare or ground transfers to/from the retreat center.

    Payment Options 

    You will have the following payment options

    Twin room € 745, the complete training and accommodation fee is due in full by August 31st, 2019. Payment is processed at registration.

    Private room and bath € 1145, the complete training and accommodation fee is due in full by September 17th 2019. Payment is processed at registration.

    Cancellation & Refund Policies

    Refunds will be issued for cancellations made prior to September , 2019, minus non-refundable charge of € 250,-

    After August 25th, 2019, payments are non-refundable and non-transferable due to the fact that Center Open Field® is required to provide the hosting retreat center with non-recoverable payments.

    We realize that some extenuating circumstances beyond your control may prohibit you from attending, however unfortunately due to non-recoverable payments that we must make in advance to secure the retreat center, we cannot make exceptions regardless of the circumstance. We appreciate your understanding.
